Since his first appearances on the stage Timur Abdikeyev earned recognition of professionals of the opera world and music lovers. Strong voice with timbre of rare beauty and brilliant drama talent moved singer to the row of the brightest artists of the new generation.

Timur Abdikeyev was born in 1979 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Entered In 1995 State Government administration Academy, already in 1996 he changes his life and leaves most prestigious university of the country to become an opera singer. Studying in Academy of Music he meets first successes. He is invited to take participation in concerts and TV programs. Rare voice and strong artistic charisma of young singer attracts attention of opera professionals, he wins few prizes on local and international competitions. In 2001 he got one of the most important prizes for young singer "The Hope". The prize of Irina Arkhipova Foundation entrusted personally by Great Russian soprano opened the doors to the international career before singer. He decides to move to "culture capital of Russia" - St-Petersburg.

In 2002, passing difficult competition, Timur Abdikeyev has debuted in world famous Mariinsky Theater. Succesful debut was followed by more than 27 roles performed on the gloriouse stage. He tours worldwide with Mariinsky company, sings in concerts in St-Petersburg and Moscow philharmonic halls, State Capella, halls of Moscow and St-Petersburg conservatoires.

Among the roles performed in Mariinsky are Raimondo in "Lucia di Lammermoor", Bartolo in "Le Nozze di Figaro", Don Prudenzio in "Viaggio a Reims", Simone in "Gianni Schicchi", Zuniga in "Carmen". Artist`s repertoire includes roles of Filippo "Don Carlo", Basilio in "Barbiere di Siviglia", Prince Gremin in "Eugeny Onegin".

In seasons of 2004-2007 Timur Abdikeyev toured with Mariinsky company in Opera Bastille of Paris (2005), Royal Opera of Sweden (2004), theatre "Real" of Madrid (2006-2007), Festspielehaus of Baden-Baden (2007), he has sung in recitals with Vladimir Galuzin, Maria Guleghina, Nikolay Putilin, Anna Netrebko, Ferrucio Furlanetto under conducting of Valery Gergiev, Giannandrea Nozeda, Keri-Lynn Wilson and other great stars of the opera world.

In 2005 as a member of the Mariinsky Company Timur Abdikeyev has got a grant of the Russian Federation president Vladimir Putin. In July of 2005 Timur Abdikeyev became a finalist of the international competition for "La Scala" Theater (Chairman of jury was legendary soprano Leyla Gencer). In April of 2006 Timur became a Laureate of the international opera singers� competition in Ossetia (Chairman of Jury Vladimir Atlantov).

In September of 2004 Timur Abdikeyev gave his first Solo Recital. This concert, which took place in Tokyo Suntory hall, exceeded all expectations of promoters, and brought artist great success and new invitations. Since then the geography of the appearances of singer with solo concerts constantly is enlarged, already including Italy, England, Germany, Japan, Latvia, Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Tatarstan. Artist performed in famous concert halls as Tokyo Opera city hall,"Prinzenpaleis", "Sigulda" hall of Latvia, in Moscow, St-Petersburg, Baku state Philharmonic halls, in State opera theatres of Kazan and Baku.

As unforgettable highlights of the career artist reminds eight Opening Nights in Mariinsky, participation in Gala-concerts devoted to the 300-anniversary of St-Petersburg and Millennium of City of Kazan, TV versions of the Solo concert and participated recitals broadcasted by state and private channels all over the world.

Today Timur Abdikeyev lives in St-Petersburg, performs worldwide in theatral recitals and with Solo concerts.
